Document Sharing

With Sellution you can build a library of lead magnets to engage people with your brand.

This content can be used by sales to help establish credibility for your company in the eyes of your potential customer.

Getting Started

From the Launchpad click on on the CRM Module.

You will be taken to the Welcome page for the CRM Module.

From the left menu click Document Management

You will be now see the Document Management submenu items.

Click Documents.

Document List

The document list page shows you all your documents along with the following columns:

  • Name
  • Created By
  • Shares
  • Views
  • Last Update

The document list can be sorted by clicking on the column headers. You can also adjust the amount of documents per page from the footer menu.

The footer has additional controls to manage your list.

Document Profile

Name Field

This is the unique name of your document.

Description

Write a short description describing the document. A good description will include who it’s for, what it is, and why it’s important.

Upload File

Click the Upload button to upload your file. Please note depending on the size of the document this make take some time to upload. Make sure your document is uploaded before exiting and saving.

Permission Type

Set the permission to public or private. If the document is private it will not appear in your resource library (available only to subscribers with a Sellution Hosted Website).

If the document is public it will appear in your resource library.

Resource Type

Create resource types to organize your documents.

Examples include:

  • Ebook
  • Template
  • Tool
  • Quiz

Cover Image

This is the image that will show in your resource library.

To upload an image, click the Upload button.

Sharing Documents

To share documents manually, you can click the Share button.

A pop up will emerge where you can enter an email of the person you would like to share the document with.

Require Email Address

When you send an invitation to someone to access your document you can request that they enter their email address to access the file. 

This helps you identify who's viewing your documents or if documents have been shared with people that you did not invite to the file. 

Each time someone views the document it will be recorded as a view.

Shared List

The shared list shows contains all the people with who you shared the document.
